Preparation Intro

Prior to engaging with the configurator, it is essential to gather information and conduct the necessary groundwork in order to achieve the desired end result of the configurator.

This step is done outside of the Expivi platform, mostly in the 3D software of your choice. Once preparation is finished, you should have a prepared 3D file ready for import in Expivi.

Preparation comprises four key phases:

  1. Creating an account on the Expivi platform

  2. Outlining configuration flow

  3. Preparation of a 3D model in 3D software

  4. Defining the pricing method

Before diving into the action, it is important to go over the basics of 3D and examine the information that can be incorporated into the platform.
